Well the waters are ice free but we are still a long way from Spring with the fishing being a little tricky at present.
We have a couple of matches coming up on the Backwater Weds 22 Feb and Sun 26 Feb but they should be free after 4pm if you are after the many pike in there at the moment.
The swim renovations at Beggars Hall are coming along with the first 3 done. As we know a lot of members cannot make the usual Thursday work parties can you let Steve or Robin know (contact info below) if you can do a Saturday as it would be great to get these done for the new season.
Finally, we have had reports of a fish theft at Beggars on Sat 4 Feb. If you saw anything can you please get in touch with Robin or Steve. All club waters are catch and release and any thefts will not be tolerated. Can members please keep an eye out for suspicious activity or any lines / traps being left in the water.
